You ask: " Why doesn't the Gov't forbid smoking of cigarettes in almost every film coming out of Hollywood... don't you think that is more poignant than raising the price of a pack of cigarettes?" Because the Clinton Administration couldn't care less about the health issue here. All Clinton cares about is soaking the tobacco industry for as much money as he can get. Congress ( including many Rebublicans ) are no better. In my opinion, they are the LOW-LIFES of American SOCIETY! It is Gov't that is ultimately the biggest threat to Democracy and the FREE WORLD! It makes me think of Thomas Jefferson who felt that EVIL had its root in an all-powerful totalitarian Gov't.
