Roger,

This was the post. Didn't we miss Herm for about a week or two in early March?

Hey Roger,

Any indications in the packet for the inclusion of options traded during that time?

Hi Roger and Everyone!

See what you think of ICST as a covered call candidate! After many years the CEO just stepped down. No comments made by the CEO. There is a strong possibility that after bringing the company up to a fantastic growth and stock price the gentleman wanted to leave while on the career top to bigger and better.

CURRENT P/E:

NASDAQ: (ICST : $19 1/8) $238 million Market Cap at April 20, 1998 Trades at a 55% Discount PE Multiple of 10.7 X, vs. the 23.6 X average multiple at which the Semiconductors SubIndustry is priced.

I learned about ICST the Security Trader web site which listed it as a double bottom chart pattern buy candidate. Stocks typically attempt to move up after double bottoms. So, a third and successful price breakout is possible very soon if all the conditions are right. The semiconductors were hit pretty hard in recent months. So, eventually they will attract attention because they are undervalued at this point.

I was really impressed by the fact that two CEOs (Rudolf Gassner and Greg Richmond) acquired some fairly large blocks of ICST stock. Gassner acquired 4,000 shares ($62,500) on 12/31/97 @ $15.63 and now holds 12,500 shares. Richmond acquired 18,500 shares ($189,625) on 12/04/97 @ $10.25.

Zack's list ICST as a HOLD while two other analyst have a STRONG BUY!
ultra.zacks.com Also, plot ICST with an 50 DAY-EMA and you will notice it is approaching that mile marker. First overhead resistance should not occur until $27 and the second at $38. Earnings release is due out April 28, 1998 and CEO has made a positive pre-earnings statements.

So, any comments? If ICST can break $21.50 this week it can continue to move up! You can either buy some CALLs two months out and wait for a price move and then exercise. Or, buy/write the stock outright and grab some downside insurance! I don't believe there is much downside from these levels as there is upside!
