Gateway's 400mhz PC100 is Best Deal Going! Hi, I hate this company, and would never buy their stock or their computers, however, I must admit they really have put together the best combination of components for a really wicked under $4,000 computer. They also are the only major provider to SPECIFY the use of 100mhz SDRAM on their computers. This is VERY important since that aspect of the computer is actually the most problematic of them all. Also, like Compaq, they offer DVD-2 drive as standard, as DELL does not. I'm sure PC-Magazine and others will pick up on Gateways fabulous configuring job. Now if only they would offer more SCSI storage options, and maybe a better selection of Graphic cards we'd really have something... but I suppose they're all built into the motherboard, so it's too much trouble/cost for them to bother.
