AMF, I monitor the metals daily and as a technician, feel that the gold has bottomed and working it's way back up...there have been several major shifts in sentiment towards the metals since the beginning of the year which makes this look like it could be a better year. Today, silver is off $.15 and gold down $2, but I consider this to be short term weakness and will give us another chance to buy more at these rediculously low levels.

Be advised that shortages in Palladium, Platinum and Silver are coming to light, and that forward selling in Gold has slowed. The road will be choppy, but should be positive.

Best of luck.

You would be interested in comments in today's Financial Post from AngloAmerican. They expect the price of gold to be in the $330 - $350 range. However, they also intoned that many factors could cause it to rise or fall.
