The shell I was referring to is AMDI. News regarding an intent to merge is now available at:

quicken.excite.com

I am not buying any as I prefer to buy in on the private side. I will watch it closely, among others, however, to evaluate the strategy of buying in on the shell side in the future. Please share your thoughts with me.

This part I'm not familiar with. The offer price was raised to .25 from .05, making the spread .001 X .25.

Is this common with reverse takeovers? Is there apparently a lot of orders in to warrant such an increase or do the market makers set it significantly higher until they digest everything?
