If it were not for YHOO, XCIT and LCOS, a lot of these internet stock darling wannabes would have already taken a major hit. PTVL's earnings clearly don't justify the stock's price. Some of the other internet stock's revenues are going up by 300% over last year's quarter. PTVL posted only 14%. Considering they only had $4 million in revenues, this is extremely low ... were talking about pennies (relatively speaking). However, I don't need to tell you this but people are being completely irrational with these stocks. PTVL has already done a 180 and is up $2. Watch out for XCIT's report today and SEEK's report on Friday. XCIT and SEEK have gone up a ton but the internet stocks still might get dragged up on their earnings report.

Tom:

I tried to get a position in GNET but it wasn't available to borrow. I thought that PTVL was going to be very resilient when it approached 30 and it was. What is your take now ? Xcit ruled the close and is down 4 in after hours trading.

I say tomorrow we move down again on the open in sympathy with poor XCIT showing and then right back up for the rest of the day. This beats anything I have ever seen...gregor
