I must agree. Whether or not the glitch tears the very fabric of civilization, the companies offering the real fixes stand to profit -- both from their remediation income and hype-fueled stock speculation.

I'm still trying to use the whole fiasco as an opportunity to reassess how *I* would react to crisis, and to promote the values that will help communities deal with this or any other challenge to civic cohesion.
