Greg,

I had to run off to work this morning. Thanks for hitting me over the head with a 2x2 concerning SUNW. I must admit I have a sentimental attachment to SUN. It was one of the three first stocks I bought when I decided to get rid of my mutual fund and pick my own stocks. The other two stocks were DELL and INTC. Needless to say, all three stocks outperformed the mutual fund by quite a lot. I just dumped INTC because of its lackluster performance even though I know it will do well in the long run. I guess I was holding on to sun because at least one ANAList says it is going to 80 and it is the only stock I have fed into VECTORVEST that did not score a "Overvalued." Not that VECTORVEST means anything!

I started worrying when SUN got mixed up with the NC. I can see where some Network Administrators would like to have the control that an NC would give them. But, if you think about it, the NC is really a step backwards. It is the missing link between the dumb terminal and the PC.

Sometimes it just takes someone to say your stock sucks to wake you up. I did sell half of my holdings when Sun was more than double what I paid for it. So I guess you could say I am playing with the houses money. Not to devalue a nice gain on paper though. Sun was up a couple of points today. The question is, "What do I buy to replace it? What do you think of QWST?
