I won't spend much time defending the Celeron because I am not much more impressed with it than you are. I don't expect it to last long. Intel will have a PII with on die L2 cache soon enough. The point I was refering to was AMD's continued slide down the technology curve. If you want to argue my point, I suggest you ask the question "Is the market willing to pay for Intel's higher performance?". That question is at least debatable. The technology issue isn't.
