Stock Bull. Everyone is probably concentrated on TK because when it comes to Intel he seems to be able to inflict the most damage or in prev. times the best upturn.

I checked the upgrades and they did not even mention that E.Klauer's firm has a buy on Intel. Probably because they had it before today.

Anyhow, Lanac thinks it's because T.K. is the King of the market. gg.

But you are right. I watched CNBC quite a bit on Wednesday and I maybe heard 1 upgrade, if that. I may have read it on the net. And, as you stated, we are guilty of the same thing. Upgrades are not as exciting as TK's downgrades. And as long as we are talking about it, he will continue to ramble on. I think we must have been ticking him off. He is not always wrong on his calls but they are sooo very numerous that we are now practically in a trance when it comes to TK. CNBC calls him a very influential analyst. gg. Like it or not, I guess he is at this point. One of these days when he makes a call, none of us will say a peep. I was guilty today by mentioning the rumor I heard on CNBC. The problem is that you never know what will happen when this guy speaks. There have been occasions lately when nobody listened to him but he is then very persistent. Like in: How dare you not listen to me. gg. Don't worry, he cannot do damage to Intel, only move the stock around

BTW, we did discuss some of the upgrades here.

stock bull, Re: >"Sonny & ALL: Why is everyone so focused on TK? Today there were three upgrades on Intc. I haven't seen any reference to these upgrades...why? Here's the link to the upgrades. Scroll down till you come to Intel."<

My assumption of tread's focus on TK does exactly that -refers to others upgrades-

The fact that late day big volume trades, CNBC's focus on TK's report and the decisive self off in short concentration pointed out to most everyone that something very unfair and imbalance had taken place all on TK's comment and CNBC's reporting of it.

The first thought was HUH! initial reaction to earnings and CC was positive not only to traders but other brokers and analysts? What is making one person's comment out weight all that? Is he right? Does he have infinite wisdom? Does he have some inside information? Is he seeing what the others missed? Didn't Intel's stock price have 10% negative factored in? and wasn't that wrong? shouldn't it (the stock price) have factored 7%? But no wait forget all your logic all the known facts Kurlak has spoken and nothing else matters the stock is not low enough! Hurry up, hurry up sell sell before it's too late the company is wrong the earnings are wrong nothing about Intel is right especially the stock price! and we didn't know it until Kurlak spoke.
