The only thing I can't stand are investors that confuse momentum investing with value investing. It's hilarious to see posts on the Yahoo! message boards calculating "numbers" that say Seek is undervalued because their share price is much less than XCIT, LCOS and YHOO! Guess they didn't learn about the # outstanding shares & market cap being the real value.

Well said, though I'd give the "fundamentalists" a little more credit than that. The best reason to buy these stocks right now is because they're going up. Who cares what the underlying company is!

Yahoo! is probably the AOL of the net but there is more room for a shake-up. Infoseek doesn't have anything truly stunning in terms of technology that Microsoft can't match and I fully expect MSFT to be the 800 lb guerilla.

Yeah, but there is a LARGE and GROWING number of people out there who will not use a Microsuck owned search engine just because it's Microsuck.

Microsuck is to computers what Mac Donald's is to restaurants.

No, real competition is between YHOO, SEEK, XCIT and perhaps NSCP.

MKatz.

Obviously you do not believe in power on momentum investing, internet
growth, computer chip prices (going down..), HUGE/1.25 mil shares short position and recent trading volume.....

Also, how can you short this puppy with XCIT eps coming up on Thu, SEEK eps on Wed and knowing how good YHOO eps were!!

The ride is only beginning!

PS. I see you almost talked yourself into the fact that you made a right decision. Check XCIT/LCOS/YHOO charts...and cover around 10-1030am on profit taking....
