Hariam; You need to go get you some prozak and mellow out man,
5000 ! Well a huge meteorite could impact the earth too and
any day we could find out that the stock market means very little
in the larger scheme of things.
The odds of 5000 are about the same..you need not talk like your
the only one in the world who can remember the 80ts..I'm 61 and
I remember a lot more than that little pimple.
--------------------------
Did you ever mail first class letters for 3 cents ?
Or get nickle coffee ( with refills ) ? <G>
Do you remember when there were no self serve gas stations,
& 95% of the people when they went to buy gas for their car ,
ordered one dollars worth. ( or less )
A big bag of boiled penuts could make lunch , and they cost
a dime. ( 50s )
The Palace Theater in Charleston S.C. was air conditioned
addmissiion was 9 cents..there was a penny arcade across
the street. Kids could make enough money to go to a movie
and get some candy just going around and hunting up soft
drink bottles and getting the deposit.
60s
How about when the frist V.W.s showed up and most people laughed
at the bug..what happend to all the American Brand cars,
The Nash, the Packard, the Kiszer, the Studebaker, at one time
or another I owned all but the Packard..yep never got around
buying a Packard.
---------------------
A half pint of good corn wiskey was 50 cents , then it went
to 75 cects..doubt you can even get any anymore <G>
A first class Romp with a first class gal in the High class
Wagon Wheel just south of Georgetown on RT 52 cost $10..( even the
Senitors use to visit that place. )
Go back and check what ? I was there...
Jim
