I was down at lunch yesterday wearing my T-Shirt as usual getting ready for the spirited noontime discussion of what we all read on SI the night before. John asked me, "What's going on with this big mystery about you know something and won't tell." I laughed and replied, "You're too young to need this stuff anyway. It's we old guys that need a little extra." Phil came over and said. "LOOK 246, WE WANT THE ANSWER, NOW!" I could see I would never make it through the lunch line unless I spilled the beans. So I said it was quite simple. Having asked how to tell S from Se, I was told, "The way I remember the difference in spelling and pronunciation of both words is 'Silicone stiffens my bone.' I'm not a breast man; it's just an easy rhyme to help me out." They went off to put more mustard on their hamburgers; I continued to pick up the beans.
