August, I do hope some more people join you at your thread. Someone else who posts here has his own new thread, but for reasons known only to him, has chosen not to announce it.. ;^) While the Coffee Shop area is a little frivolous, I have always encouraged the discussion of stocks and market trends and general economics discussions here, so I hope no one is holding back because they think these are inappropriate subjects. Does anyone want to talk about the impact of the Yakuza on Japanese banking, for example? I just read an article about that, and found it scary and fascinating. When Michael talks about stocks I am always very impressed with his knowledge. I hope he will give me some advice when I am ready to buy some new ones.
