Business Editors/High Tech Writers

ROY, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 13, 1998--Iomega Corporation (NYSE:IOM) and
Fujitsu PC Corporation (FPC), the seventh largest notebook manufacturer in the US market,
today announced that modular notebook Zip drives will be bundled as a standard feature into
the new retail line of the popular LifeBook notebook computers. With the LifeBook 270Dx and
the LifeBook 280Dx, Fujitsu PC Corporation is bundling Iomega's removable Zip drive into
their retail line of notebook computers, offering consumers unlimited capacity to save, back up,
transport and store files.

"High capacity, multimedia storage that is removable is becoming a necessity in today's
computing environments. Iomega's Zip drive is a cost-effective and leading-edge solution to
address our customers needs," said Sara Nelson, senior manager of product marketing for
FPC. "Zip gives our users the ability to maximize and back-up today's popular applications."

Iomega's notebook Zip drive uses highly durable Iomega genuine Zip100MB disks -- offering
70 times the capacity of traditional floppy disks. In addition, with more than 12 million Zip
drives sold, consumers can conveniently share information with friends, family, colleagues and
business partners. Iomega's notebook Zip drives offer a complete solution, with software utilities
such as Zip Tools that allow users to initialize, write-protect and format disks, as well as test and
repair them. Also included is Iomega's 1-Step Backup software for quick and easy backup
from your hard drive to your Zip drive and RecordIt software that enables customers to
capture, record and save live or pre-recorded music and voice audio for up to eight hours on
one genuine Zip 100MB disk.

"FPC's forward-thinking decision to include Iomega modular notebook Zip drives in their new
retail line of LifeBook notebooks offers customers desktop performance and high-capacity
removable storage in a value notebook," said Andy Grolnick, general manager of Zip OEM at
Iomega. "Mobile customers expect the leading technologies to be included with the purchase of
their computer. They expect it to replicate desktop capabilities and notebook Zip makes that a
reality."

Iomega notebook Zip drives are already offered as a standard or optional feature by many
notebook computer manufacturers, including Acer, Compal, Chicony, Clevo, Hitachi, IBM,
NEC and Siemens Nixdorf. The notebook Zip drive is also available from CNF Technologies

Taylor looks like a great fit for Iomega. Advertising campaign needs fine and not-so-fine tuning.

IMO, ANY number (-.10 or better) will be OK with the Street so long
as the CC presents a credible story. Street's in a highly confused state as to what's up in ROY.....they hate that worse than anything
(Herb excepted.....he clearly has a Louis the Lizard Thing for IOM).

SHORTS REPENT.....THE END IS NEAR!!!
