Bill,

Do you mind if I ask you a personal question: Why do you post here?

From what I can make out, you're a self-confessed "Wintel fanatic,", you don't trade AAPL, you don't like Macs, and you don't have anything new to contribute to the thread.

I'm trying to understand your motivation. Please help me out on this one.

Bill,
While Apple's key markets are under attack from cheap kludged together Wintel boxes, the Windows World is under attack from high performance well designed [information management tool] boxes from Apple.

Performance sells. The net effect of the millions of under $1000 Wintels will be to get people who know nothing about computers to buy something and get their feet wet. Most will end up in the closet with the old Atari, TI 99/4A, and Apple II. Many will look for a serious computer to replace their first within 18 months. By then, Apple's increasing market share will be apparent enough that even you will have to acknowledge it.

Happy AAPL blossom Spring!
