I know, the Apple is far more expensive and does not have a monitor. The Wintels will have a bad summer and I feel gateway will crsah and burn. Dell will suffer a reversal and thousand of screwdiver shops will close because the competition has driven margins to around 20% for Dell(sales cost - cost of parts, ingnoring sales costs) and to under 10% for the screwdriver shops.return on equity will bomb Dell down a bit. In fact this high tech slide will start this month as orders are reduced in anticipation of the summer slump. Compaq will also be hit hard, as will we all, including Apple. Bill
