To All, Cendant Corp hit the wall yesterday. Seems like this holding co. for CUC (a stock I was once long, short, long and short again), Ramada, and several other well-known cos. found a problem with their accounting. The books were catalogued under "Fantasy Fiction." Of course, this never happens at quality growth cos. and those good old boys wouldn't lie to us. Again! -g- Man, how many sets of cooked books have we seen since I got all those notes about 6 mos ago telling me I was slandering corporate America. Actually, that isn't true. The rest of the world is just as or even more crooked. -g-In the words of Lucky Luciano, after a visit to Wall Street, "I went into the wrong racket." MB
