This is probably the beginning of the end for CD. Silverman should have done his DD instead of letting his BIG EGO come in the way. I'd like to see him being interviewed by Ron Insana again.

CUC was nothing but a scam, and Silverman loves scams, so this was a good "fit" until the street woke up.

Cendant insiders recently on the sell side - Reuters Details Sales

A Reuters story by Daniel Bases, dated April 16, opens:
QUOTE
"As investors piled through the exit door at Cendant Corp. after it discovered possible accounting fraud, a review of the latest stock activity by company insiders showed top-level executives selling or announcing their intent to sell shares in recent weeks."

"Cendant's stock plunged 46 percent Thursday, closing at $19.06, down $16.56 a share on the New York Stock Exchange, after the announcement late Wednesday evening."

"From Jan. 22 through April 6, nine insiders sold or filed intentions to sell 4,065,361 shares in a price range of $37 to $39 a share, according to CDA/Investnet, a Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based firm that tracks the stock activity of corporate executives."
