The one thing I love about Vantive is their huge client base and the fact that customers love them. Take DuPont which i hear is in the early stages of deployment..they think VNTV walks on water and will be rolling them out worldwide for years with add-on sales going to vantive almost effortlessly. As VNTV's SFA matures those companies will go with it even if it's not best of breed because they want the integration and would prefer to stay with one vendor. VNTV has earned repeat business better than any other vendor in CIS, IMHO, and certainly better than Siebel. That makes them a nice solid growth stock for years to come. They'll do it less spectacularly than Siebel but I think more predictably and consistently in the long run. My kind'a stock.
