When I post my signals, I believe that I always state whether I am long, short or flat. From a practical stand-point the system is in the market either long or short, over 90% of the time. The recent repeated instances of going flat are really a bit of an aberration.

If I were long or short and got a signal in the opposite direction, I would ALWAYS close out the exisiting position---whether I reverse is another question, though as I stated, it is rare that there is not a reversal.
