Dwight, if I had to hire someone to work in my antiques store, I would hire the person whom I thought would be the most knowledgeable, helpful to my customers, energetic, and would not steal from me. I would not ask in the interview about outside interests, because I think that would be discriminatory, in a way. All I would be concerned about is your ability to do your job. What you do after work would be no concern whatsoever of mine.
