Its just like the I see the cup half full and you see it half empty. If we could accurately predict breakout directions even 75% of the time we'd be rich in short order. My philosophy on trying to forecast these things is to take the momentum approach and assume that breakouts will occur in the direction of the underlying trend.

Looking at a chart of ASND if you count up the number of times over that last 15 days that its's created higher lows and higher highs versus the times its created lower lows and lower highs, I think you will find that the probabilities have been in favor of higher lows and higher highs. I just assume that that trend will continue at least for the short term.

We've also got very narrow bollinger bands looking at a daily chart. Price is ready to move anyways. The uptrend with a two week timefram is also up giving it a better chance to break upwards. It just may not happen until next week. I have a very short timeframe since I've got the Apr 35's and have to decide to just sell or roll them over to May.
