With a 100 MHz bus and a 400 Mhz processor, the bus speed is only 1/4 that of processor speed. The question is, are you really going to see that much more performance with a 100 Mhz bus ? The bottleneck is still the system bus, I/O transfer.

Voodoo2 is scoring twice or even three times the frame rates of the i740 in any of the games I ran, but 3D Winbench 98 claims that their 3D performance is equal!!!
