There's a great conflict of life. There's laws and there's what's right. As to the laws, I'm sure she knowingly took the risks, knew she was breaking the law and she is bearing the consequences. In that sense she is getting what she deserves. Especially after already being on probation. This is not smart to say the least.

I agree also that there is much that argues that what she has done is wrong. I agree almost completely with you in fact, except that I can just not place a moral certainty on it. I understand that you can think with precision with regard to your boys and what you want for them. I could never presume with regard to your situation. However, I am just as inclined to not condemn their situation without knowing more.

A fine distinction to be sure.
