Albert, I don't work for AMD so I do not know. I am assuming they are since they will need to staff the German fab soon. Historically, volunteer really does not work. Only the most talented take the chance and dead weight stay.

Albert, By the way, have you notice Johnny boy changed his SI profile again? After years of being an Intel bull and when signs of trouble are in the horizon, he left. Before leaving, he took a last swing at us and say I won't be back. It's like punching someone and hide under mommy's shirt.

>was not amd hiring recently? AMD is having a job fair at fab 25 this weekend. AMD is publicizing this quite a bit in Austin. Their engineers are also contacting other engineers to interview with them. They seem to be hiring across the board. I don't know how much of this is hiring for new projects or making up for short staffing when they had layoffs the past 1 or 2 years. I would be interested to stop by the job fair and look, but will be out of Austin this weekend.
