James: Unrealistic forecast made by a "House" full of Bulls is unlikely to move stock prices. The Industry is suffering from an over capacity leading to margin squeeze for survival. The problems are systemic and are not related to a particular Q as some would like to suggest. They are also unlikely to be solved by R&D efforts since products have short half lives.

Earnings predictability will continue to be poor until a pattern of consolidation is set in place. Until that happens, it is unlikely for any one of the four 2nd tier Networking Companies to show sustained growth. What is needed is for the "Backbone" Telcoms to buy out their LAN/WAN vendor. They can then reduce Sales,R&D & G&A expenses. There is a need for a shakeout and I hope it happens soon.!
