Jim:

I have a nice Radio Shack XT machine with floppy drives and no hard disk for sale, you interested? I will cut you a good deal too,I mean why pay for a 400 MHZ machine when you can have an XT,right????

PS:You will have to load the DOS from a floppy disk every time you boot the machine and it is nice and slow.Who wants them speed monsters anyway, big rip off if you ask me.<vbg>

Jim,

I believe that you are using figures coming from Intel's i-comp index and I think that it is used to measure the performance of the processors only.

Here is PC Magazine's performance review of the Dimension 300Mhz:
zdnet.com

and PC Magazine's performance review of the Dimension 400Mhz:
zdnet.com

There's more than a 18% difference in performance.
