The pro forma net loss for the first quarter of 1998 was $ 6.0 million, or $0.28 per share. The pro forma net loss for the corresponding quarter of 1997 was $4.5 million, or $0.38 per share. Including $1.0 million of acquisition-related expenses, the net loss for the first quarter of 1998 was $7.0 million, or $0.34 per share

so what was the loss? .28? .34?

Is this really a surprise for a stock that has almost doubled in a week? What happens tomorrow? My guess -- sell the news!
