THQI parallel:

I think I may have discussed this at some point a few weeks ago, but it bears repeating. I held a substantial number of shares in a software game stock called THQI last fall. There was an initial rush of investor enthusiasm which slowly diminished day by day. While THQI had some great games coming on line, there were many delays in getting them to the store shelves.
There was a fair degree of volatility. Up a point one day, then a frustrating 1-2 point drop over the next few days. Posts were replete with "why don't they do this, why don't they do that?" Sentiments were virtually identical with the current TAVA thread.
The trading range froze at 7 1/2 to 10 for weeks. Then came a financing announcement (any old trigger will do, this one happened to be money), followed by the long-awaited release of a much anticipated game...viola...9 to something like 32, virtually overnight in trading terms. There are many similar examples...TAVA is one of them.
TAVA is like the final aircraft checkpoint before takeoff. You're sitting there full throttle, straining against the brakes before toeing it down that center line. NMS, earnings, new contracts...any number of things will clear TAVA for takeoff & when you free up those brakes...and roll out on that momentum runway...and start to pull back on the TAVA yoke, the SKY is indeed...THE LIMIT!!!
