"But I have to be incorrectly interpreting this. Because God's kingdom is ruled by God. We may have lost the dominion in the garden for God."

The Kingdom of God in relation to man is the rule of God in man's heart. Another way to put it is the Kingdom of Godk, in realtion to man, is the governing of God in man's heart.
From Scriptural evidence we find that the rule of God--the Kingdom of God-- had been abolished first in the fallen angels and then in fallen man.
There was a time when the Kingdom of God ruled everthing. Then rebellion set in. First Angels rejected the rule of God and then man.

God's Kingdom must not be confused with the concept of worldly Kingdom and their ruling or governing. The kingdom of men are ruled by force and intimidation and not from the heart. The government on the Potomac could care less about what its citizens think and feel about the abusive Federal confiscatory taxation or the IRS. The federal government is only concerned that you follow its laws. They are not interested in your personal feelings on the matter, only in the revenue that you provide. This is the same with all human kingdoms.

The Kingdom of God is a Kingdom of the heart. When man rejects the rule of God in his heart, he in effect destroys the rule of God. The fact that God possesses the power to force man into external obedience can never establish the Kingdom of God in mans heart. Dont confuse the Power of God with the Kingdom of God. God is only interested in governing from the heart through love.

In the final Judgment at the end of the ages, God simply separates those who will not be governed by the heart from the children of God in Christ who are governed by the heart.
He who will not be governed by God in His heart is not fit for Eternal Life.

It is easy to go back in our own lives and compare the two types of kingdoms and their rule. Before Christ we are governend by necessity and force. We obey the rules at work because of the consequences. We obey the civil laws of men because of their consequences.
When we are Born Again into the Kingdom of God, we obey the rules at work because of our love of God and not because of the consequences that men hold over our heads. That is the simple diffence between the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of men. Once rules from the heart through love and the other rules from the sword through fear and intimadation.
