Dear goldsnow: IMO Russkies ain' no dummies! This is their way of saying "Gotcha". When the price stabilizes much higher, the shipments will resume. Meanwhile, as one NOT knowledgeable about the white metals, where else are the mines, and which mining companies stand to benefit?? One other thought, substitutes for the jewelry side of the equation certainly include GOLD!!
