I have been thinking about this whole news release issue. I have been in TAVA (TPRO) since the low 5's. That was this January. TAVA has been, by far the largest position in my portfolio for about 2-1/2 months now. So, not a bad gain for 4 months...
But I am rather frustrated about the recent dormancy. I don't really understand why TAVA is prevented from announcing deals, as has been the common thinking here on the thread. No other Y2K company seems to have this problem. Why is TAVA special in this regard.
Also, Y2K is now a widely known problem. It has been reported all over the world for a long time now. It isnt something that companies have to hide because people are (or at least should be) expecting that all companies will have to address Y2K to some degree. It would seem a greater advantage to announce your intention to deal with the issue. If you have to announce it at some point better sooner than later I would say.
So, given this (and obviating Scot's 45 day plan)....where's the beef?
