Dear RFF - no denying it. The ray of hope is the topline growth. BAY should emphasize that... rgds Bosco

I think this just about seals the deal. Merge or die. It is apparent that nobody can win in the Cisco market place ....its niche players like asnd and those on the perimeter like 3com who have a chance ,,,bay is right in the cisco line of fire and will not make shareholders any money unless someone buys the company in my opinion. I am waiting to hear the replay of the conference call but it seems like the deal is done the die cast so to speak ,,,and I am either going to have to sell at substantial loss or hold dead money for the next run if there is one or hope for a merger?
George ...hats off to cisco ,,,the only enterprise game in town,,,

I think most of us are just shell shocked. I didn't expect that lousy a report - revenues
down 15%. Hope we stay above $20 tomorrow......

This poor quarter is a blessing in disguise. If BAY tanks into the teens they will be cheaper and a great target for a LU takeover. So, take heart, all is not lost.....
