Calling someone a liar is one thing, calling someone a born liar is something else. Where I'm from, (Africa) that is called defamation of character and you will have to back it with some substantial evidence or vultures and hyaenas will soon be picking your bones. Regards Probart

John, I don't believe you can simply paint all people in a particular position, in this case IR, with the same tainted brush. Guy is an independent IR person working for shares in this case. He's proven to be reliable and refreshingly straight-forward. Judging someone following your line of reason leads to bigotry. I realize you've been fed BS by some others in the past (CLL), but that doesn't mean everyone will continue to feed you the BS with everything else you invest in. Have you spoken with him before? Anyway, just wanted to give the other side of the story. I know several people who have spoken with him and haven't heard anyone complain. And after-all, he can only repeat what management tells him. He's not on the ground in Bolivia and it isn't his job to be there. On another note: The March 27 Edgar filing was for a 15 day extension re the reporting of the quarter ending Dec. 31/97. That is GE's year-end as well if I'm not mistaken. I interpret this to mean there should have been a filing by April 15 unless the extension gives them 15 working days. That would mean this coming week at the latest. Does anyone know what's going on?
