I agree. Something that isn't included in Balance Sheets is leadership. Agouron have exceeded expectations measured against anything Johnson has said at previous conference calls.

They have produced an absolute success story. I've been long since Oct 96. It is true that there is a lull between their first drug to market and their second. But I respect the fact that they exited Thymitaq when they did rather than waste money going to Phase III. They recognised they had better drugs to spend their money on.

The market will start to factor in 3340 and additonial pipeline soon enough. Now is probably the time to beat them to it.

Fundamentally.... the company delivers. My money is staying in.

Mr Barr,

I don't know who you are, but I feel I have been a significant supporter of this stock, have probably owned the stock longer than you, probably own a lot more than you, and have probably contributed a lot more information than you. I don't see your name here much.

I think I've raised a couple of potentially realistic concerns, and regardless, feel I certainly have a right to voice an opinion, and have a right to be disappointed. I get a little tired of people like you who think they own threads, oppose any differing opinion, and invite people to leave. We finally get this thread cleaned up and then come along the likes of people like you.

I never said Viracept wasn't living up to my or anyone elses expectations. Try rereading my posts jerk. In case you didn't notice, there seemed to be a lot of folks that felt like me, at least today. I was reassured somewhat by the generally positive sentiment here today.

I will take my business elsewhere, in that I'm not interested in fighting with anyone, and will not be addressed in the manner you represent.

Good luck everyone,

Steve Fancy

PS: Sounds like there's a lot of information you don't know, and if this is the streets way of saying that the company has exceeded their expectations, well guess I learn something new every day.

Now I'm done. I leave this guy with all of you to assume the roll of a certain person who left us.

Paul,

Your comments are a little nervy. Steve is a credible player on this thread, and has been for quite awhile. I'm sure everyone appreciates his input as I do.

He's generally been a strong proponent of AGPH, but even if he weren't this thread benefits from an open discussion, and we need to hear from people who are short the stock, who are bearish on the products and the management, as well as from people who are long and bullish.

Anyone is welcome here, even people who aren't that knowledgeable on the products and the technology ... but for heaven's sake, let's be respectful of one another when we express our opinions.

Peter
