Don't forget we are still in the bull market in which any news, good or bad, is perceived as positive. I see KMAG going up 10% tomorrow for being honest with stockholders and not mentioning "bankruptcy" in the press release.

BTW, where have the SEG bulls gone? Seagate missed the estimate by only 1c - the lowest margin of missing estimate in three most recent quarters! The stock got to be doubled within a week! Impossible? Look at SEEK!

Vinman,
Drives could turn around, and KMAG could still suffer. Their problems go beyond the industry. They are using outdated equipment, get poor yields, and haven't keep up with HMT (for one) in producing media that their customers want. Also, their customers have taken more of their work in-house. There is a media glut that is independent of the drive glut. I wouldn't take their warnings as indicative of the drive sector as a whole.
