Hi Everyone
Todays San Jose Mercurys business section has Seeq at a
PE Ratio of 18 and a projected pe of 9. With companies
like Level One with a pe of 40 plus. Seeq seems like a good
buy, and I don't expect it to go down much. The large funds
will not be selling. They will be buying on weakness.
On the conference call today, Phil Salsbury (president)
of Seeq discussed Seeq being at the Interop convention in
May. He said that they would have two booths. One at each
end of the convention hall. He said they would be demon-
strating the Gigabit Chip. He also said that Seeq will be
announcing some NEW PRODUCTS AT THE CONVENTION May 4 to 8th.
With the Xircom announcement and Intel business, the last
half of the year looks good for seeq. Seeq has plenty of
cash. (Ten Million) & 17.2 Working capital. They are also
increasing there R&D spending. I believe Seeq still has
100 Million to reduce there taxes. The tax break ends 2,010.
Good Luck

Listened to CC - Looks like next quarter is kind of iffy for
good sequential growth yr to yr and the great hope is now Q4.
Some positives some negatives for next quarter

I did listen to the call.

I think these guys are being very conservative. (Maybe rightfully so)
I think what they were saying is that the worse case scenario was flat revenue. But then they mention all the new design wins including, Xicrom and Intel will be ramping up this quarter. This means a major slowdown at Bay and CS? I am a little bit confused on that.

No question they are excited about Q4 though!
