actually i made some money on the first rise of safari so am garteful for that ,didnt think they could move it again so didnt buy when it went down again .there are many very cheap prospects now on si compared to this one.
i own teco energy which has a coal gas methane commercial project , to date they have put in several hundred million dollars and a lot of years of effort to get it going and to be profitable. i doubt very much that safari has anything ,and if on the offchance that they do they dont have the resrouces to develope such a play and really are in a very poor negotiating position with little money , one bad hole and another which clearly isnt a barn burner or they would be shouting it from the hilltops. the idea that they are waiting for a presentation at this meeting to give out the good news is ridiculous , they just want to string it out for a while longer and then will announce at the meeting that they need to do more studies and holes prior to determining financial viabilty. they are to be congratulated in the sophisticated way they have managed their pr in a severe bear market for vse stocks with basically no significant news to report , if it had been a gold stock it wouldnt be trading for more than 10 cents.anyway its my opinion that there are much greater bargains to be had amongst the devastation of the small gold markets and that incidentally doesnt include guyana than with a hot air play like safari.arh
