Yes, that is an excellent way to torture boys. I highly recommend it.

A great way to torture small children is "favorite toy confiscation".

To add more fun for yourself while inflicting more pain on the child, place the toy out of reach but within sight of the child rather than hiding it in the closet. Be sure to wear ear protection when doing this.
