Bazmataz,
My ML broker gave me that info this morning after the ML morning call.

We were very interested in knowing whether TK had made the statement on the target price of 60 yesterday when CNBC mentioned it. My broker was inundated by calls from his clients when they say CNBC. So he went over TK's conference call on INTC's earnings on April 15 morning. Not a single mention of $60 price target.

This morning TK says that he made no such prediction. He does not make predictions for stocks rated a 3. It is not good for business to slam stocks especially large stocks which can provide significant business opportunities. That is the reason most ML analysts will never use a 4 rating which is an outright sell.

That is all I know. I hope this helps.
