lisa...Not to be rude or snide, but for TRANSACTION to be even reported on my quote machine/system there has to be a round lot (ie: at least 100 shares traded), so yes, 100 + 1000 shares = 1100/2 is an average of about 550 to 600 shares.

600 X $90+/share is $54,000.00

That's ALOT of $money$ where I come from...I guess for rich people like you it's ho-hum-yawn. Now just count in the literally 1000's of 1000 Share trades made...that is nearly $100,000.00/trade...That ain't no CHICKEN SCRATCH SISTER...and I don't care who you are, what side of the track you live on, or what you do either.

And just think, some of those 1000 share trades belonged to a single person/broker/brokerage-house/financial institution.

And yes, I am LONG 2 XCIT May 85 calls which I am proud to say I bought on the close at $14 1/8 EACH!!! So put that in your PIPE and SMOKE that along with the crack you gotta smoking too!!! <g><just kidding>

Everybody doesn't know everything about the brokerage business, not even me, but dad comes pretty damned close. He's only been doing it for 35+ years. They give you a couple of combat stripes for that kinda service and you gotta respect the rank!!!

Happy Trails,
JR
