That analyst is mighty hopeful too.

Hey, earnings may be OK. They have the option of moving some of the R&D KM money to the bottom line. If earnings can stay close to or slightly above this year, the stock has probably bottomed, even if revenues continue to decline.
Reaction to earnings will tell us if the market is basing or chasing AXC right now.

Very well stated, Hopefull.

This is the type of stock that Peter Lynch says to look for - solid value with growth potential, and currently undervalued by the market. (Also not the current fad, like Internet stocks are today.)

I've averaged down, in anticipation of 1998 being a good year for Ampex.
