Yes, but you know? You are looking at a longer term frame.

These peeple think that a dip like in October is a bear market. I do not disagree that the market will soar into the new millenium....or however you spell that.

The tactic is to take full advantage of setbacks. Then let the "Damn the torpedoes crowd" do what they like.

Anyway, the real danger is that the "Buy the Dip" crowd gets wasted enough that they back off, then the "I'm in it for the Long Haul" crowd is not anymore.

In short, a serious down move throws a ripple into the man on the street, if you know what I mean.

Then, we may progress to what could possibly be the biggest bull market in history. We cannot do this, in my opinion, with every Tom, Dick, and Harry convinced of the Market going to the Moon in a day or two.
