Hello Henry -- OFF Topic

Message 4079331

Here's a bearish spinn on the G7 meeting.
The Yen has moved around rather *gracefully* for you currency traders.
3 dollars both ways are some nice swings .....hope you were able to
take some profits..?

News papers-broadcasters are filling their spaces with chatter these days
on Japan and the Yen. Something must be causing concern for the all this
activity. Governments and Central Bankers like the dark corners of the news
unless they are out for reassurance....and placation.

After BoJ 300 Billion investment....they must be very confussed.
Amazing to see such entrenched paralyzation. Got to be a serious deep
neurotic problem in the collective psyche of the countries leaders.

I thought Sony chairmans' comment on Hashimoto as a "Herbert Hover" was
right on the money....and a very telling and important developement for
the future of Japanese industry. They must be furious.....?

Japan is still a mighty big IF....and when/if they go down the sinkhole
the impact will knock about 15-25% off the worlds markets. Maybe we will
see a currency board established for Japan.
From the news papoer articles I've read Hawnke(sp) looks brillant and
offering some astute insight into fundamental workings of capitalistic
excesses. No wonder the IMF doesn't like his work.
Has he written anything..?

Check out this book:
"Prosperity: The Coming 20-Year Boom"
Bob Davis -- David Wessel
Conjecture that we are poised on a spurt of increased productivity
similar to electricities effect on industrial productivity.
Very interesting....I have yet to read it....but idea is fascinating.
Take Care
