Yes, violence is to a large degree the reason allot of teens run away. What I see most of all is kids who are living with a step-father and he is either very distant, or too much of a authoritarian as compared to when they were alone with their mom. The highest correlation I've seen with teenage runaways, is that they usually come from a broken family. Many times multiple broken families. If you know what I mean. Michael
