Duplicate the IMS lib for about 500k? Let's see, 500k will pay for about 50 person-months of development work plus associated overhead costs. That would be about 4 engineers working for 1 year. My impression was that IMS had invested a far greater quantity of resources into the lib; hence, at a much greater cost and, hopefully, much greater resulting value.

engineering. I don't know what you mean by the third SD, but
I'm sure it is a very brilliant, biting comment that shouldn't
