Look at QWST and LVLT--Both very interesting/promising.

Read the good stuff also on SI threads

JRH,

QWST is using 7500 routers and announced to buy GSR 12000 routers a while ago. Like other carriers, they don't want to be stuck with single vendor.

JRH,

I think QWST is a great play.. I haven't looked at the numbers over there in a while. Ya know I kick myself everyday for having sold that pup too early. I bought in the 30's and let go in the 60's... I can't remember the exact numbers but I figured that doubling my money was pretty good. Well, since then they've doulbed again (after the split).

QWST is using routers and building an IP network but as I understand it, although I could be wrong on this, they will be building an ATM core using ASND switches. But, who really cares. IP nets (not the internet...they're different mind you) are the wave of the future. That's why I also picked up DGIV - a bulletin board stock...I've quadrupled my money there in 6 short weeks. I think that pup is gonna keep cranking too...

IP networking is the wave of the future..you can't go wrong investing in it... much like the internet...but IP carriers a valued well below most internet stocks.

Good luck
Gary
