Jock , Re:>> Why is this sick company worth anything more than one and one half times sales, which would put it well below five dollars?<<

Your above statement is not correct .

Iomega was selling for 1.2 times earnings as of the end of 97 .

With the sales going up the price / sales ratio would be about 1 times sales at this point in time .

exchange2000.com

Looks like a good buy to me .

Uhhhhhhhhhh........excuse me "Jock"

But assuming a 13% Sales increase for the rest of the year (very unlikely as it is) that would leave us with ANNUAL revenue of 2 Billion dollars X 1.5 (your price to sales ratio)= $3 billion / 265,000,000 Shares= $11.32

Maybe you were using quarterly figures........use see we with a cerebral cortex use the ANNUAL sales numbers..

Have a pleasant evening,

Frank

re: you as a reseller should know just how sick a company IOM

WERE GOING TO HAVE A SALE and that's OK with me.

At this point I'm not so hung up on margin as I am about getting the
drives to a point of unanimity. As a current retailer of more than one industry I have sacrificed margin for market share.
( it works, volume goes up )
The mindset of computer users to Zip as the standard drive is job
one.

To date as much vapor ware as can be manufactured has been thrown against Zip and Zip is the winner.
I believe that Zip has a better than 50,50 chance of becoming the replacement for the 1.44 floppy drive.

I've been waiting for this point for a long time, I guess those easy bucks of a full blown retail price were too hard for K.E. to give up.

Not me I would have done it 6 months ago.

Reseller

Bateh ought to be overjoyed when Zip OEM sales percentage reaches 70%- 75% next Quarter.

Not from any increased Zip sales, mind you. But from further retail Zip sales erosion in the product mix. But little concerns like this are all good news to the twisted logic of Bateh.
