Culture and traditions as passed onto further generations was a little hard for me to understand from your post, Jim. Why don't you write a little blurb summarizing your main point, and I will try it again, okay? Obviously we disagree on the United Nations, and I am not knowledgeable enough to argue point by point. But I think of America as part of a larger world, one where the rain forests are being burned down, and the oceans poisoned, and I think it is very important that we maintain an international presence to exert influence. A huge, poor, and angry mass of people in the Third World will eventually take us out if we don't try to bring everyone into some kind of decent life.
